Casey McNamara
Executive Vice President, Head of Data & AI Strategy and Transformation, Capgemini Invent

Casey McNamara is Executive Vice President at Capgemini Invent, where he leads Invent’s data and AI strategy and transformation work. His team focuses on the hard part of AI: making it useful and dependable inside the complexity of real organizations.

Casey has been a leader in advancing industrial AI since graduate school, where his chemical engineering research focused on intelligent systems for complex operations. He learned early that the technology challenge cannot be separated from the work itself: sophisticated systems must be shaped alongside operators, grounded in how people make decisions, and designed around the rhythms and constraints of day-to-day work.

That philosophy now shapes how Casey builds and leads teams across industries and enterprise functions. He brings strategists, engineers, designers, and domain experts together to connect what new technologies make possible with the context, judgment, and workflows of the people whose work they are meant to support.

Those teams are advancing new methods for bringing AI systems to life: starting with a clear purpose, grounding them in how organizations actually work, and continually evaluating whether they improve decisions, actions, and outcomes.
